🏀 COACHES!!! Representation matters.
College coaches move often, and too many leave major financial decisions in the hands of the wrong agent.
A coach represented by my brokerage on a purchase later netted over $1M in profit when it came time to sell.
The timing is very questionable at best. Coaches, universities, and athletic departments have spent a lot of money recruiting and building relationships for this year’s recruiting cycle. Having team rosters potentially ripped apart at the last minute is upsetting, especially since we have been operating under the status quo. The game has grown internationally due to the success of international players in college basketball. College basketball is also probably the most talent-rich it has been since the 90s. Why not continue advancing the game's popularity by having the best players in the world in that age group play in it?
I created a chart for the judge in Tristan Smith v NCAA, where we are seeking an extra year of eligibility for the Clemson wide receiver. If this comparison of Smith and Malik Benson doesn’t show the NCAA has acted in a demonstrably arbitrary and inconsistent manner, then 🤷♂️
It's fitting that Seth Greenberg wants the tourney expanded.
Lived on the bubble for most of his tenure at Virginia Tech.
Went to the NCAA tourney once in his final 17 seasons as head coach.
Don't blame Made Hoops. They were bought by a private equity company whose #1 goal is to squeeze the lemon dry. Blame the team directors who ignore the high cost associated with their team parents/families watching their kids play at MADE Hoops events
Being in your early 40s is weird, man. People around your age are in every stage of life. You have people who are grandparents. You have people who have newborns. You have people dating 25-year-olds. You have people celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary. Some of them look 60, and some of them look 30. All the bases are covered when you are in your early 40s.

Since yesterday, dozens of reporters have reached out privately, saying they deal with the same thing constantly. Most are afraid to call them out publicly. I'm not.
I've been in grassroots basketball for 30 years. I put LeBron James & his HS team in UCLA Pavilion in front of 13k fans on ESPN2 in 2003. You got 4 NIL basketball clients. Get off my time line. I've had enough of your BS lol
Rick gave me a great memory early in my career when at Arlington Country Day. He came to check out players and was a great guy to talk with. I can still hear him telling Rex’s son, Taylor, “ Your dad gets it… it’s all about players”. Master recruiter.
Source: Rick Stansbury — the all-time winningest head coach in Mississippi State history — has officially signed an agreement to be the Associate Head Coach at LSU under Will Wade.
A seismic recruiting addition in the SEC landscape.
