"If your habits are good and strong, you're going to be very very successful."
Excellence is the habit and the mindset, not the destination.

True toughness is quiet and comes deep from within. It’s about making the right choice under stress, uncertainty and fatigue. It requires emotional control: cultivating the power to respond—not react—and thus making thoughtful, deliberate decisions during pressure-filled situations.
You shouldn’t be negative after making mistakes in games, but you shouldn’t be indifferent either. Be motivated to correct your mistakes and play better, but stay calm and positive at the same time.
Dream BIG. Don’t box yourself in with self-imposed limitations. Even if you fall a little short of your goal, you will still be further ahead than if you had dreamt small.
A dad was grilling steak for his teenage son.
The son scolds his dad: “Don’t burn the steak. CAREFUL! Don’t mess up! You’re gonna mess up!”
The dad snaps, “I’ve made steak before. Just let me grill.”
Son: “I know, dad. I was showing you what it’s like when I’m playing sports.”
