As athletes, it’s easy to ask God to bless our journey, our goals, and our success. But real faith is being willing to answer when God calls you into something bigger than yourself.

“Here I am Lord, send me.”

Send me into the hard workouts.
Send me into leadership.
Send me into moments where I need courage.
Send me to encourage a teammate.
Send me to represent Christ through my attitude, effort, and character.

God is not looking for perfect athletes.
He is looking for willing hearts.

The strongest players are not always the most talented.
They are the ones willing to answer the call when things get difficult.

Today, compete with purpose.
Lead with humility.
Work with passion.
And trust that God placed you exactly where you are for a reason.

That’s a wrap on our Spring season for Ohio Fire 17U. So proud of these young women for the way they battled all spring long and finished it the right way with a hard fought win over Britt Academy down in Knoxville.

One of the coolest parts of this weekend was allowing our Ohio Fire 17U athletes to experience the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame in Knoxville.

So important for these young women to see the legacy, sacrifice, faith, and greatness that helped build this game long before them. We want our athletes to understand they are part of something so much bigger than themselves.

Grateful for the opportunity to pour into this group both on and off the court. The future of women’s basketball is bright. 🔥🙏

Every athlete understands what it means to run a race. Early mornings. Tough losses. Growth that nobody sees. But God didn’t place you here by accident. The court you step on, the teammates beside you, the challenges you face… that’s your race.
