We close out the meet with a 1st place finish in the 4x400!!!! With a time of 4:02.24, Kennedy Whaley, Karli Reitz, Kylee Frazee, and Ayla Klingenberg are state champions!!!! Way to run girls!!!
Rock Creek (4A) girls run a school record time of 4:02.20 in the 4x400 to win the NCKL meet this evening. The team of Kennedy Whaley, Karli Reitz, Kylee Frazee, and Ayla Klingenburg now rank #1 in 4A and 5th across All-Classes in the state with their time. Karli and Kennedy also went 1st and 2nd in the 300m hurdles earlier in the day. Kylee won the open 400 and took second in the open 200. While Ayla won the high jump. The Rock Creek girls won the NCKL meet with 143.5 points beating the next closest team by over 60 points. #sportsinkansas
Eli Bell of Rock Creek had a fantastic meet as he PRβed and broke school records in both the long jump and triple jump. Bell long jumped 21-09.50 to win the NCKL title. He triple jump 46-04.25 to win that as well. Bell was also a SIK All-State π pick this winter leading Rock Creek to a 4A RU as well as a standout football player for the Mustangs.#sportsinkansas
