So I’m sure someone will ask “how would you coach it then?”
Let’s say it’s a Center working this drill. Have a 2i to his left, and a 3 tech to his right. He is comboing on the 2i, but he knows if the 2i slants away, he has to brace back because the 3 tech is likely slanting inside. The coach is directing the 2i and 3 the tech before the play, sometimes telling them to slant, and sometimes telling them to play into their gap. But you don’t give your Center that information. You make him have to react to the environment presented, and he has to find the answers. Always change the environment!

Baylor hammered and creased the Tar Heels for 38 first downs, 756 yards offense and nearly seven yards a snap in 2015 Russell Athletic Bowl. That O-line coach is now a Tar Heel.
Mike Leach's .596 winning % leaves him just below (literally, three wins) the CFB Hall's .600 threshold for coaches.
I understand why the standard exists, but an exception must be made for him.
You can't tell the story of CFB without Mike Leach.
Let’s think back to March 2020, the world shut down, and teachers stepped up and figured out how to continue the school year. We were deemed “hero’s!!”
