I cannot count the number of times that I have read the book of James and every time I do, I struggle with "count it all joy.." But reading this helps me grasp the concept a little better.

It’s disappointing the shot clock proposal won’t move forward. In fairness to Doug Ute, this decision ultimately falls on the ADs and the OHSAA Board. These are the same administrators who expect coaches & school staffs to stay current, adapt, & embrace change. Think about that.
“The culture precedes positive results. It doesn't get tacked on as an afterthought on your way to the victory stand. Champions behave like champions before they're champions; they have a winning standard of performance before they are winners.” ~ Bill Walsh, Super Bowl Champion Coach, NFL HOF

The Approved Shot Clock Events for the 2026–2027 Season are set… and this lineup is LOADED.
From December through January, the best teams in Ohio will be competing at a high level with the shot clock in play.
See a parent sitting quietly at a game?
Often, that’s the one who gets it.
No complaining.
No criticizing coaches.
No yelling at refs.
No drama.
Just watching their kid compete.
Youth sports need more parents like those.
Be part of the solution.
Cavaliers are a borderline disaster… incredibly poor defensively, lack any type of consistent effort and mediocre at essentially everything else. Hoping to get & stay hot from 28-35 feet seems to be “the plan”.

“Atta boy.” That’s the phrase my dad longed to hear whenever God would welcome him home. I believe he heard it loud and clear after decades of serving so faithfully.
We are so grateful for the prayers, love and support that our family has received. We’ve really loved hearing story after story remembering my Dad. We will be honoring him and his heart for Jesus and people through a public Celebration of Life service at 10am ET on May 7th at The Church of Eleven 22 San Pablo Campus in Jacksonville, FL.
Church of Eleven22: 14286 Beach Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32250
In lieu of flowers, our family welcomes anyone who feels led to honor Dad by supporting the work he gave his life to – sharing the Gospel around the world through the Bob Tebow Evangelistic Association (BTEA). Your gift helps carry that mission forward at https://t.co/10EKWmVUwZ.
It’s incredibly hard to believe that it’s been 23 years…
A son, a brother, a grandson, a friend, a coach, an engineer… and now a husband. You are a blessing to so many, and you are so very loved. Happy 23rd birthday Micah.
Love Dad
Great read from @rustindodd on Dusty May working w/ teaching expert
He has "created a culture that is 1 part Ted Lasso, 1 part HS teacher: always curious, never judgmental
But it also represents a larger idea: the benefits of coaching like a teacher."

As a man who has chased this mindset as a head coach and as an assistant… and failed more than I succeeded to live it out, I respect this quote so immensely! This is coaching… or any profession, as it should be! ❤️🏀
Tony Bennett on what it meant to make the Final Four as a coach
“It doesn’t compare to faith, kids, family, grandkids - because I know what truly matters - it enables me too enjoy what seems too matter like this.”
