@ringmagazine Ugh. Spence fan here. But this does not look good. He's at least 2 steps slower. Eyes look glazed. Feet heavy. I hope I am wrong. And let's not talk about the ponytail! π§
@DanRafael1@Super70sSports I grew up in DMV, watching before the show went national! He & James Brown from CBS started in DC 45+years ago. Someone needs to bring this show back. Better than most shows on ESPN right now! Except for SVP. Another DMV guy
@AlBernstein@MonteroOnBoxing Agreed! You can call out any 2 from the top row; I would not debate. None from the bottom row, however. I'd go w/ Haney and, unfortunately, Davis. Unfortunately, because MD (College Pk) is 1 of my 2 home states. IL being the other (Chi and Evanston)
@SECNetwork I mean. He literally dragged that foot from the last free throw hash line to the end of the rectangle. Just watch the "pivot" foot from where it starts to where it ends. My goodness.
@BreadmanBoxing The least impressive stat line was Bill's. IMHO. And it was still other-worldly! I think just based upon numbers Wilt or Oscar should've won. But I was 14 years away from being born! So I cannot comment on the eye test part of the voting. π€·πΎββοΈ
@MrChuckD @8_24Mamba4Ever Chuck. I'm a die hard Knicks fan too. Starks poster in my office and everything! But, I hate that I have to let these young cats know how good Mike was. I moved to Chicago in 91. So I saw it all!
@AlBernstein Larry always had a bit of disdain towards boxers. Even though they put food on his table for 40+ years. His back and forth with George during fights. The Floyd interview. Talking down to Roy. There's a trend here...You, Max and Bernardo have always been my favorites.
@DanRafael1 Exactly! RG purposely didn't make weight. Probably bet the money he lost on the scale on himself. Knowing he was juiced up! The fact that RG lost his last fight to a guy DH would've beaten. And looking at DH last week, tells the full story!
@AlBernstein Lol. I respect your stance. I've never paid it much mind. I really don't care about divisional rankings either. Especially since the governing bodies give rankings out to the highest bidder. I just want to see the best fight the best.
@Cyclingnewsfeed 12 stages. 1 rest day. 25k TT. 2 days in the Alps. 2 in the Pyrenees. Or Mont Venteux! (2 out of those 3 mtn stints). Finish in Nice. That'll be perfect. & 8 stages for the Vuelta. 10 for the Giro! Both w/ 2 mtn stints,TT & a rest day as well! That would be an ideal GT season.
