@Realrclark25 I know a player that sustained a shoulder injury doing this, or a similar drill last year at that school. That player was a QB, competing for the starting position.
@TopSpeedLLC I was there, this is NOT true. Some players did not complete the workout, while a selected, smaller group did. (Time constraints were mentioned) Some were skill guys, some lineman.
Don’t put it out there if it’s not true.
@JonnyRoot_ Same energy for Johnny Manziel, you know the guy who was a drug abuser and lied about his life? Or maybe Baker Mayfield, the guy who had a run in with police in college, grabbing his crotch on TV? Actual character issue guys, playing QB, who were shameless, self promoters.
@earlaustinjr Sickening. I’m also disturbed by the coach’s response when asked about the incident. That’s not how you treat anyone, regardless of the emotions that may have led up to it.
@themongoose40@GSV_STL If Platte County is really like that, they should be dominating Class 5 each year. As in 5 titles in the last 10 years dominant. It’s levels to this thing. Handle business at home before you look over the fence.
@WyattWheeler_NL @CRileyNL The article says that all players will have the chance to play, but on the JV team. So no kid is being robbed of a chance to play. All of the supporting activities, sure it is a blow, but some seem willing to sacrifice safety for tradition. That’s the way it reads.
@justinC101DC@Realrclark25 My opinion just so happens to be shared by the greatest players and close observers of the game. If overwhelming evidence to the contrary was out there, the discussion would be different. You just won’t find many well informed that disagree. Some, but not many.
@justinC101DC@Overholtz21@Realrclark25 I question your true understanding bcz corners don’t make tackles in the box, safeties do. Woodson was big time great, but he played a lot of safety. I watch film, study opponents, tendencies, footwork. It’s levels to it. You are using emotion in a fact discussion.
@Overholtz21@justinC101DC@Realrclark25 PBUs require the ball to be thrown to your guy. You don’t seem to get a fundamental fact….they didn’t throw to the guy he covered! Watching and truly understanding the game are 2 different things.
@justinC101DC@Overholtz21@Realrclark25 Woodson was good, but his physicality was more prevalent when he played safety than corner. Not sure how much you fully understand how much of an impact he had on a gameplan. Other guys put up more numbers bcz QBs threw to them. Guys have higher tackles bcz they completed passes
@pick_six22 Delusion! Prime was the best to ever do it, you seem to be the only person not to agree. Could there be someone better, yes…..but we haven’t seen him yet. But you probably accomplished your goal generating all of this attention.
@akdadoc@saintlouismayor@NDFootball@JeremiyahLove@8_franchise Nah bruh, you got the right one today. Let’s engage, say it witcho chest! Everything can’t be the way you think it should be. Let’s celebrate some great young men who are going places OUTSIDE of athletics. It’s a path to impact. If you don’t get it, you just jealous or slow.
@akdadoc@saintlouismayor@NDFootball@JeremiyahLove@8_franchise I would hope you get that a national spotlight has been on these young men because of athletics. Now that light is being used to show even more positive attributes they possess. Your comment is not uplifting, as backhanded compliments are not support.
