Parents sharing things about their kids that doesn’t make them inadvertently feel all their value is tied to their sports performance is key.

Unfortunately, my team’s season was called after only playing 19 games. During our season, I played right and left field. After our season was cancelled, my teammate and I would practice almost every day until finals were over. Kept my infield,outfield, and hitting skills sharp!
