@JL_Baseball Jeez, it hits maybe an inch or two foul, well past the base. Some of the ball easily could have, and likely did, go over part of the base.
@JL_Baseball Not sure how you can say this was a blown call. Even if the camera was exactly in line with the foul line, you’re looking at a two-dimensional view of a three-dimensional play. It is most likely a correct call.
@JL_Baseball I also had someone else reach out to me on this call. He thought it was a fly ball. But that’s a ground ball, as it bounces in the batter’s box. So did it any part of the ball go over any part of the bag on its way to foul territory? Really close. Umpire had a better view.
A close call costs Cleveland. Instead of strike 3 to end the inning, it’s ball 4 to tie the game and Boston goes on to score five more before the third out.
@JL_Baseball Those who say things things either belong to the rush-to-judgement or wish-for-failure groups. Both can turn any move by the team, or any player or game result into an “I hate Dolan and he is cheap” rant. They choose to be constantly negative and miserable.
Q - WHAT DO YOU CALL AN ANGRY AND FRUSTRATED, #1-SEEDED DETROIT BASKETBALL TEAM THAT GOT ELIMINATED ON ITS HOME COURT BY 31 POINTS TO #4-SEEDED CLEVELAND?
A - THE PISTOFFS
@JL_Baseball Many today measure by championships only. That’s why Jordan is better than LeBron? So Ted Williams and Ernie Banks now sucked? And they played 20 years when there were 16 teams. Do they also diss their kid if runner up as valedictorian? These are miserable and sad people.
I don’t post hockey (hard to believe, considering that there was a time I was into it almost as much as baseball), but I’ve never seen a between-the-legs shot for a goal like this, as Mitch Marner scored for Las Vegas last night.
I’d like to know what happened to the Channel 43 call of this game with Joe Tait and Bruce Drennan. You only see the video with the radio call of Herb Score and Nev Chandler. @BDbaseball6
