@barstoolsports You guys know it’s impossible to read a piece of human written journalism when you bombard us with targeted ads and Ai nonsense that we have to keep X-ing out of, right?
@Gumskii@MenInBlazers Yes I coach. At no point did I condone that behavior. Am I not allowed to wonder why he reacted like that? The first question you’d ask the red carded player is, “Why did you do that?!”
@adastrapermerda@MenInBlazers How is this offensive to you? Do you honestly think grown men at the highest level of the game don’t try to bait each other into cards? At no point, did I ever think he should have reacted like that.
@PhillyBorn369@MenInBlazers Of course it doesnt justify it. Im just saying something happened before. If you’ve ever played a competitive game in your life you’d know there’s a game within the game of rattling the other guy.
@THEChrisKessell@ussoccer@FIFAcom We love to throw a neverending amount of barriers to entry to play. I’ve seen kids at the rec level show up to fields assuming they can show up and play, then you have to tell them the signup window is closed, or if it isn’t, it takes 30 mins and they need to download TeamSnap 🤦🏻♂️
@coachcolton Obviously, he’s talking about the most elite players in the world and of course you’d want to foster and empower creativity in them. But you can’t have 11 players thinking they have creative carte blanche positionally. Positional roles & responsibilities still have to be defined.
@Don_K_Williams USSF needs a pyramid w/ limited amounts of teams per level and promotion/relegation system where a level of play status is earned. Higher level/less teams allowed. Even the lowest level should be restricted to keep youth soccer orgs healthy.
@Don_K_Williams How do you put that genie back in the bottle? USSF would never get involved because there’s too much money to be made and if they did it’d likely be to the highest bidder.
