One week since the #TransferPortal has closed, and I wanted to check this morning to see if any of the thousands of remaining football players had signed with a new school.

There are still 5,896 active transfers looking for a home.

FBS: 1,174 (20%)
FCS: 1,544 (26%)
D2/D3: 3,178 (54%)

The facts:
- 11,061 total players entered the portal this 2025-2026 cycle.
- 53%, over half, haven’t signed anywhere.
- Flip a coin. That’s your chance of finding a spot on a new team for this past cycle.
