Born in the Caribbean. Raised in Hawaii. Lost his mother at 8 years old. Spent three years in foster care before finding his way to a family in Linn, Missouri and eventually to a wrestling mat at Helias Catholic.

This year, Zyan Knollmeyer went 40-0, won a state championship, and became a national champion.

This is one of the best stories we've ever had the privilege of telling. Don't miss it.
