Block, charge, or no-call?

[Coach (Tyler) LaRose 🏐 @CoachLaRose]

@hellers_shop Do you still remember the fight song?

[Coach (Tyler) LaRose 🏐 @CoachLaRose]

@masonjta I think she turns because the driver runs into her left shoulder, turning her whole body.

Falling for sure "sells" the call more, but has also introduced flopping into the game. 🤷‍♂️

[Coach (Tyler) LaRose 🏐 @CoachLaRose]

@masonjta 100% right, toughest call in sports. Your eyes need to be in 2 places at once.

Here it is in slo-mo, still looks to me like she's got defensive positing and gets run into.

[Coach (Tyler) LaRose 🏐 @CoachLaRose]

@masonjta OK ok. I see (saw) that she had legal guarding position (2 feet of the floor facing her opponent) and the offensive player initiated the contact.

[Coach (Tyler) LaRose 🏐 @CoachLaRose]

@masonjta Interesting. How?

Merry Christmas from your favorite volleyball team!

[Coach (Tyler) LaRose 🏐 @CoachLaRose]

Feels nice to be recognized for all the hard work. Gotta give it up to our players and coaches too, though. They're the ones that go out and get it done.
