If you think analytics in basketball is a relatively new phenomenon, you never kept score in a “hot shot” competition at a summer basketball camp… 9 year olds have been calculating the risk/reward of a 5 pointer from the top of the key vs fast 1 point layups for 50 years 😂😂

I love when the @MiamiHEAT are referred to as “a program”… normally that term is reserved for college basketball, but it gives the feel that even at the highest levels there is value in loyalty, leadership, accountability, etc … and it’s hard to dispute their results!
