I guess we’ll get a bit of a feel tonight but game 2 we’ll get a clearer view based off of adjustments. I like Spurs defensively, I just don’t believe in the Knicks offensive fire power. They haven’t played against some young guns like the Spurs who are really good defensively, the Spurs survived OKC.

Stop looking at "levels" as high or low. If you're Power-4, yeah, you're at "higher" level. But beyond that (D1, D2, NAIA, D3, JUCO, whatever), it's all about specific situations, program philosophies, & FIT. There's "levels to the other levels"...do your homework & get educated!

The concept of what's wanted vs what reality shows is available is the tricky part.

You've got 6'1-6'2 combo guards, 6'5-6'6 wings being pushed as PGs and none of them are naturally nor being taught to be one.

It’s really sad, but after the first recruiting weekend for the 2027 high school class, I had a couple of coaching friends tell me this week they can only take one or two high school players because they have to save spots for the transfer portal. I guess these kids have to go to lower levels and work their way up. A very small percentage will stay anywhere for four/five years. The new normal. 🤷🏼‍♂️🏀
