Terrible news from the college basketball coaching world as I just heard that Tra Arnold had passed away.

Arnold had been the head coach at Midland College since 2022, but stepped away due to health concerns after just 14 games this season.

He was also an assistant at Iona, Samford, and Tarleton State, + spent six seasons as the head coach at Odessa.

Coach Arnold leaves behind a wife and young family.
