GREAT perspective. Learned this from my HS coach Mike Vannett at BGHS. Genuinely cared about everyone in his program. Great HS coaches get it & understand the value of EVERY single player/manager/staff member in their program. I often ask myself “would I want to play for me”?

@_MikeRoth @dj_eidson @FPHS_Basketball 😂 knew this is where it was going to have to begin. You 3rd graders I believe. Interesting to see how that youth program continued to grow. Created a real foundation for what is now a consistently competitive HS program. Many deserve credit for building it into what it is today!

@mgoul @QuinnWoidke @DamonFriery As defenses are changing the way they defend Damon this season, his game is really evolving. I’ve never seen him work in the paint & around the rim the way he is right now. Also defending at higher level & thinking through game this more season. Love this kid! Special talent.

@mgoul @JackZapolnik @QuinnWoidke 👀 JZ does at least one thing per game that makes me do a double take. It’s not always as “flashy” as this, but impressive regardless. He’s a special player & young man. A pleasure to be around everyday. His poise, maturity, & decision making is a big reason for our success.
