I started coaching in college once my eligibility ended, and over the last 6 years I was able to move from “Student Assistant Coach” to “Associate Head Coach”. Here are 4 key things that I’ve taken away from my experiences:

3. Be where your feet are

Be fully present, and engaged in the moment - mentally, emotionally, and physically. It’s about giving your best to whatever role, task, or person is in front of you instead of being distracted by what’s next, what’s behind, or the uncontrollable.
