@BostonHeraldHS It was always a learning experience to go against Coach Lyons’ teams, although rarely a winning one. A role model for all coaches, and a good friend. My thoughts and prayers for Paul’s family, his former players, and his countless loved ones.
@RickMGorman As a player, student and person, Jamie lived every moment of his life to the fullest- with enthusiasm and respect for his family, teammates and friends. Huge loss for NA community and beyond. My heart goes out to his family.
@BurtTalksSports Incredibly sad news for all who love sports in the Merrimack Valley. Mike was a one-of-a kind writer and a champion of all the kids and in every sport imaginable. Keeping his family and friends in my thoughts.
@NASupt Nobody did it better than those two guys. Incredible coaches and mentors of our NA kids in so many sports. Great idea to honor these 2 unselfish and caring men.
@_izzydoesit_ I couldn’t agree more, Izzy. Seems to be interpreted differently night in and night out. STILL, you have to love the kid that closes the gap and takes a legit charge- right?
So proud of our son. ISL records and NE Championships are terrific and speak for themselves but the impact you have made on countless players and students at Brooks will last forever.
We look forward to following your exciting new ventures at Holderness.
Love, Mom and Dad
Our guys played their hearts out yest- down 20 at half & cut it to 4-but it wasn’t to be. This team finished a year like no other with the same heart & care that they showed all season. Lots of emotions in our locker room- it has been an honor. 19 years & SO many people to thank:
@Coach10_ Thanks for doing a great job as Press Sec. of Tewksbury hoops. It’s easy for a team to finish strong when you’re at the top of standings but it’s very impressive when a team never quits after some tough losses and finishes strong. Happy for your team and their coach!
From his first year coaching at Andover, it was clear that Faz checked all the boxes. He is a tireless worker, an excellent x and o guy, and an incomparable motivator of his players. Happy for my good friend and wish Dave and his team the best tomorrow and in the future.
@fredetter25 Fred- great pic and wonderful memories for me of you and your teams. Appreciate your nice thoughts and I will always look back with respect at the way you played the game.
How fortunate am I to have coached this guy, worked with this coach, and now be friends with this man @Bouda532 . Incredible future ahead of him and can’t wait to watch @TMHS_Hoops this winter.
Great evening with coach, mentor, and friend @CoachMJMc! Such an incredible influence in my life.
I can’t quite get him to put on a @TMHS_Hoops shirt yet.. but I think he’s getting closer. 😉
Also, 497 combined coaching wins in this picture! (FYI: he has all 497…)
Always so incredibly proud of my sister @ecmcveigh & always fun to see her crushing another marathon, finishing in just over 3 hours today while running for @BAA team. Will be one of the top finishers in age group. TV coverage even caught her finish, shown here. Way to go, Erin!
While we will miss him terribly, @BrooksSchool is proud to share that Dean of Faculty John McVeigh is moving on & will become head of school at Holderness School next July: https://t.co/O6YrtIIEig.
Please join us in congratulating him! 💚 #brooksschoolpride@AthleticsBrooks
@WardensWisdom Jimmy, much appreciate the sentiment of Wardens Wisdom this morning. For each slice of motivation I may have tried to give you and your teammates- I was given back 10 x the inspiration from each team and guys like you. 🙏
