Half time adjustments should always be simple and actionable. Buzz words/phrases are energy vampires.

'Not enough intensity'
'We are playing soft'
'They just want it more'

🛑

- do we need to adjust the pace?
- are we rotating on time?
- are we guarding the ball screen effectively?
- are second chance/extra possessions favourable?
- can we improve shot quality?
- is there an individual matchup beating us?

One of the biggest mistakes we can make is giving players too much information.

Affirm 2 or 3 things they are doing well, focus on 2 or 3 points to adjust, and leave them with the CONFIDENCE and ENERGY to play well.

@8Ballahoopinsi1 Amen. At practice with my team last year, we had a constant rule that during any live scrimmage if the ball hit the floor a fourth time without changing possessions - Turnover. Practice makes progress and you have to practice the right things to improve at them!
