You can't say Marshawn Lynch, Jerome Bettis, Derrick Henry, or Adrian Peterson.
It's 4th and goal at the 1 and you need a TD ... what back do you give the ball to?
I'll start: Mike Alstott
Happy Birthday to the 1998 Heisman Trophy Winner, @Rickthelaureate!🏆

*I am a D1 Coach*
*You are a D1-Level (Recruitable) Prospect*
• You DM me with your tape that I love
• I am on the road recruiting your area
• I decide to add a stop at your school last minute on Friday
• You decide you want to skip school to extend your weekend
• I show up to your school and you're not there
• I leave
• We never have a conversation because I have to be 4 states over next week & my flight leaves in a couple hours
• You miss an opportunity by skipping school during the contact period
Moral: Know the NCAA Recruiting Calendar and DON'T miss school during this time!🫵 @5StarFBRecruits 🌟
Navy's Landon Robinson and Eli Heidenreich were both drafted in the 7th round ⚓
This is the first time that two Navy players were taken in the NFL draft since 1956 👏
Luke Falk shared a Mike Leach story that stopped me cold:
Two kids. One rich. One poor.
Every training camp, Coach Leach told his team about these 2 kids.
The rich kid has two choices.
Get soft. Get entitled. Expect everything handed to him because he was handed more.
Or take the resources, the coaching, the opportunities, and compound them into something greater.
The poor kid has two choices too.
Say nobody gave him anything. Blame the world. Make his circumstances the reason he never became what he could have been.
Or outwork everyone in the room.
Luke said the locker room had both. Kids from wealth. Kids from nothing. Kids with every advantage. Kids who scraped for every inch.
Same choice for all of them.
Ownership or victimhood.
Fuel or excuse.
The rich kid can waste the head start or build on it.
The poor kid can drown in the deficit or weaponize it.
Greatness doesn't come from where you start.
It comes from which kid you choose to feed.

Heaven ushered in a hero of the faith last night as my Dad was welcomed home!
Many will say sorry for your loss but the truth is he’s not lost, we know exactly where he is.
He’s home.
Forever!
I asked him last week what he looked forward to most about Heaven, and he simply said, “Jesus.”
He couldn’t wait to see Jesus face to face.
Praise God that his wait is over.
Death has been swallowed up in victory.
He’s healed and whole now.
So we don’t mourn as those with no hope.
See you soon Dad!

Meet them where they are. Then push hard
This is how the best coaches & programs build real buy-in

A man got off work and discovered that his dog had run the 24 kilometers from his house to his job and was waiting for him on top of his car.
Dogs are the only living creatures in the world that love unconditionally. ❤️❤️❤️
