The 2025 Golden Sandstorm offense averaged 4️⃣7️⃣ points per game for a total of 5️⃣2️⃣0️⃣ points on the season, both school records, officially making them the HIGHEST SCORING OFFENSE in Amarillo High School history.🔥

The last 48 hours have been an absolute whirlwind of emotions. We have certainly lived through our lowest of lows and our highest of highs.

Through the midst of our biggest storm, one thing has proven true: The Amarillo Golden Sandstorm family is stronger than it’s ever been.

It is clearer now more than ever that the only thing that matters is that the people inside our walls, our families, and our community know that we will always put the best interest of kids first and foremost, and we would never intentionally do something to put the game they love so dearly at risk.

The overwhelming support from our community the last few days has been truly humbling. Seeing fans, family, alumni, and everyone else rally behind our kids is a testament to what makes this place so special. Seeing a community unite for something good is what makes the game of football the greatest game.

Last night was electric. Last night was fun. Last night was a memory that will last a lifetime. However, the story isn’t over. There is still football to be played, and it’s now time to win gold balls.

As always, we are extremely grateful for your love and support.

We love our fans. We love our community. We love our head coach. We love Amarillo High School.

Let’s go make a run.
