Pamela Kosgei just SHATTERED the NCAA 10k Meet Record. The previous meet record of 31:46.09 was set by Parker Valby last year.

Grace Hartman takes second, with Joy Naukot in third, Paityn Noe I'm fourth and Chloe Scrimgeour in fifth. They ALL dipped below the previous mark 🤯

Pamela Kosgei of @UNMLoboXCTF won the 10,000-meter crown by 14.33 seconds last night at the 2025 @NCAATrackField DI Outdoor Championships.

That was the largest margin of victory since 2010.

IT’S A SWEEP 🧹

Pamela Kosgei delivers @unmloboxctf their second #NCAATF 10,000m title of the week, obliterating Parker Valby’s 2024 meet record by 28 seconds with a 31:17.82 run.

After runner-up Grace Hartman led the first half of the race, Kosgei broke things open with 2 miles to go and never looked back, winning by 14 seconds.

@UNMLoboXCTF put up 18 big points in the #NCAATF 10,000m final as the NCAA record holder becomes NCAA champion, as Ishmael Kipkurui takes the win in 29:07.70 ahead of teammate (and 2024 champ) Habtom Samuel.

Kipkurui closed his final 400m in 53.38 seconds off a slow early pace to clinch the victory by 1.03 seconds over Samuel.

One race after Pamela Kosgei goes NCAA No. 2 All-Time, @UNMLoboXCTF’s Habtom Samuel takes down the outdoor 5,000m record in a time of 13:05.87! Taking indoors into account, the only times faster in NCAA history come from Nico Young, Romain Legendre, Graham Blanks, and Samuel himself😮‍💨

His teammate Ishmael Kipkurui, the NCAA record holder in the 10,000m, finished 2nd in 13:09.24. He’s now 4th on the all-time outdoor list behind only Samuel, Abdihamid Nur, and Henry Rono.
