Man! If this isn’t the truth! I am more prepared to be a head coach now after 5+ years of doing it, but I am more than content to be an O-line coach and Special Teams Coordinator. Being a head coach made me better and more appreciative of those roles!

Another reminder this year to kids going to camps:

Seeing some kids "camp schedule" list looking like a grocery list of 15 items. Schools are just taking your money.

If you are a high school player right now looking to do camps:

DO NOT GO TO 10 camps. Go to 3-4 camps and space them out and choose schools that have shown you the most interest at this point.

Keep the main thing...the MAIN THING! Be with your team in the summer. Prepare for a great junior or senior year. PUT IT ON TAPE!!

Pick 1 at the very most 2 mega camps
Pick 1 "Prove you can play there" camp.
Pick 1 " School has shown you the most interest.

I did post what I did and I stand behind it. PA is clearly not what it has been. Maryland has always had amazing talent and you guys are doing the job. Ohio is still a beast. Which one of those statement is not true?

@coachjcoleman @C_Tinner Agreed. They won the games. I get the way that college football with early enrollment has changed how it works. I also think a state with 500+ football playing schools shouldn’t lose to a state with 220+.

@Coach55Hanson @C_Tinner Very true. I miss the days when the best in the state were playing that game. 2004 with Henne and Morelli comes to mind. Even before that with Kevin Jones and Rod Rutherford. PA had some great teams in the past.

@fballcoachd @C_Tinner The foundation and PSCA are awesome! Nothing but respect for them. The MD Big 33 people have made a real commitment as well. It is sad how the Ohio game was a war and now we have a 2 game losing streak to Maryland. Respectfully.
