@TheGridironHQ The correct answer is tackling. But if your players are where they’re supposed to be and not freelancing you have a chance to have multiple people around the ball.
As I continue to sit in AAU gyms and watch game after game after game. The more I realize how valuable shooting is. Almost everyone can at some level get to the basket (not saying everyone can do it at a high level) but there are maybe 1 to 2 guys every game that can legit space the floor and have a shooters mentality. #aaubasketball #highschoolbasketball
NCAA should start a new rule that if you don’t transfer during your 4 years, then you get a 5th year of eligibility. And if you do transfer you don’t get the 5/5
Yes there are kids playing travel/grassroots ball that are highly unlikely to receive an athletic scholarship.
But what if a kid just wants to hoop competitively all Spring and Summer with friends and travel with each other? And is willing to take a financial loss for the experience.
There should be a separate AAU circuit called the “Zone 23” for all the teams who want to play exclusively zone defense.
Wonder how many college coaches would go 🤔
