@GHS_GAPrincipal For the sake of transparency, I researched this zero. I’m not seeing the email you’re referring to though. I see where somebody blue-lined an email out. Do you have a copy without the blue lines?
Truly interested in whether this is real or not. Because somebody’s doin wrong
Understanding and holding the line between what is necessary versus what is a waste of time/effort/resources might be the defining characteristic of good athletic departments. Have core beliefs, don’t stray.
Is there a better feeling than being late to an email thread that’s concluded all it’s business and tossing out a “thanks everybody” reply-all to pretend like you helped?
@JeffSuper5 Do you have actual people in mind who big-leagued drawing and holding cards, or are you just dunking on the royal/proverbial “young coaches” for internet points?
Can’t remember the record of a single youth sports team I was on. Won a 12 year old football championship. None of it had anything to do with me playing college football beyond showing me I loved to compete. Adults are destroying youth sports with their own goals and behavior.
This is a must read by @jasongay
Participation trophy’s are a fake crisis.
The real problem is we’ve ruined youth sport. Went all in on travel leagues and achievement focus. And as a result participation is plummeting.

I remember when teams got together on Tuesday evenings to throw against each other. It was free. Teams didn't need uniforms -- we played shirts and skins. Coaches could coach their kids. No one was showboating for social media. There was no $$ involved in it.
As a social media manager I’ve been fortunate to learn about sorority tiktok dances for their recruitment and it’s definitely the eighth level of Dante’s modern Inferno.
