Different context. There was no pressing trap in those scenarios. In the Mexico game, the Mexcan prepared and well and identified this as his weakeness, they set a trap and he and Yaya fell for it.
I’m going to show you countless Videos of Ronza playing a similar pass @AndileMlondo which is how he plays.
NB. this is not about Sundowns please bare with me
It’s simple;
You can’t turn on the weaker foot if you didn’t scan enough. Here you need 3/4 times scanning at a very quick stance. Or at least your first touch open control, the ball must be closer to you, not expose the ball even a meter in that area.
A Midfielder will always ask for the ball. A Goalkeeper has a discretion whether to pass him or not. He has a better view of the field of play. Ronwen makes this mistake often and is often prone to pressing traps. His ability to build from the back is overhyped.
@CBSSportsGolazo@PabloZane2@JOYPAULIAN@MikeLahoud You ask for the ball as a player, thats the first thing, secondly you have a 100% responsibility to scan and see whats going on around you. The level of awareness should be very high in that situation at all times.
That is true. But the problem is that he is also falling to keep up. There is nothing really revolutionary that he has brought to SA football, his success in SA came from piggy-backing off the hard work done by Downs technical team and recently Pirates.
It was deliberate pressing trap and Rowen and Yaya feĺl for it. Midfielders will always call for the ball wrongly or corrrectly so, but the goalkeeper has a discretion l, he has a better view from where he is positioned.
Bafana looks like a team that was assembled the day before the game. Broos over relied on the Downs's campaign, which was not that convincing to begin with. Mexico just taught us a valuable football lesson but he is too stubborn to learn.
Very inappropriate. That is why they don't listen to him in Portugal. It's not his place to say these things, Sundowns has proper representation in the league and there are correct channels to raise these things.
Hate-watching can cloud judgment. There was so much hope around Orbit, despite all their problems and inconsistency this season, that they could somehow rise and trouble Pirates. In the end, that was always a big ask. Credit for the fight—hard luck.
"Tears are going to be flowing there."
Orbit College's assistant coach, Kabelo Machete, spoke with confidence about what they can do against the Pirates tomorrow.

José laid the foundation Pirates needed after those inconsistent seasons brought back belief & the fans returned. Ouaddou built on that, tightened the defence, made Pirates more direct, & delivered the league. Next step consistency + real competitiveness in the Champions League.

Boss moves? Debatable. The handling of the Saleng situation was poor. We wish Maart and Nkota all the best, but if you unpack things carefully and without bias, these moves feel more like bells and whistles than real progress for the players.
The below observation is something Pirates really need to work on next season to ensure consistent dominance. The Durban City game is a case in point. It should not be this difficult especially if you have aspirations to compete in the Champuons league.
Pirates tends to be easily rattled by physicality or determination from any team wanting to prove a point. The Chiefs technical team studied thier game against Richards Bay and used this to prepare for the derby.
First I would like to thank Coach James Mabena of blessed memory for introducing me to @MLMathebula to mentor me into coaching. Looking at my journey from school of excellence, Marumo Gallents and currently getting promoting to @BotswanaLeague all i can say is I'm a helped Man.
preparing players for match-intensity actions without creating early fatigue. The goal is to prime the muscles and nervous system activation, replicating match acceleration-deceleration.
I agree. But expertise alone isn’t enough. You can’t impose change on people and when they resist, you can’t antagonise them or look down on them. Respect, humility, and genuine buy‑in matter. That human element is where the Portuguese methodology clearly falls short.
The laws of success are universal the same happened with Ted Dumitru of blessed memory. Is about the zeal of the stakeholders to adapt to change. Football is a reflection on society if we can't utilize, tap in the brains of such experts our football will continue to struggle.

@otm_enhancement Cardoso is technically astute, and his methodology is impressive. But football isn’t just science—if you can’t win over stakeholders and the local football fraternity, it means little. The resistance he faces is about alienation and arrogance, not competence.
I will always defend this master when the team is doing well they don't mention and as soon as things start to criple they point fingers. He's the best coach in the PSL
