It’s been awesome to the see @FB_RedWolves program grow into what it is today. The school opened in 2011. Still work to be done but a foundation has been laid! Shout out to every former and current player who has helped build this program! Here’s to continued success! 🐺
I woke up this morning to this picture on my phone. The Verse of the Day on my Bible App is Luke 1:37.
An angel is describing to Mary how Jesus is going to be born. It sounds unlikely to Mary but the angel says it’s the word of God and the word of God will never fail.
What a great reminder to us today that God’s word is the truth and it will always be the truth. When things get crazy we have to stand on the truth—which is God’s word and our Bible. 🙏🏽

The hope of the Jesus believer and follower is not that there won’t be hardship or that life becomes somehow easier.. in fact in many ways life can become harder as habits are broken, pet sins wrung out, persecution or abandonment from loved ones may become realities or in some cases worse. We see this with Jesus closest followers, all of which (except John) were martyred.
But Paul in 1st Thessalonians 4 describes to that church that indeed our {those that have placed faith in Jesus Christ as Savior AND Lord} concern of death is not like everyone else.. we understand that it’s actually just a form of “sleep”.
A sleep that will, in the flesh, end one day and we will awake again.
In Luke ch 8 Jesus, in the raising of Jairus’ daughter, used the same words when he told the mourners to stop “she is only sleeping” (though clearly medically dead)
As believers in Jesus we understand and the Bible teaches that we will one day arise and awake again. That just as Jesus arose and had his physical body we will one day as well.
Paul goes on to say that is, in fact, the hope that we profess as Jesus followers. Yes it’s that our sins are forgiven by Christ and his redemptive work on the cross.. but also the victory over death as a byproduct of that redemption.
For the believer, you do not die but only sleep, for you will one day soon awake again in that body unflawed, perfect and free. Death is permanent, sleep is temporary. To sleep is to indicate there will come an end and an awakening.
What a hope we have in Jesus!
