Attention 2027 and 2028
With the recent discussions and proposed changes coming from the NCAA regarding eligibility, transfers, and roster management, the landscape of college athletics may be shifting. While many details are still developing, one thing is becoming clearer, the JUCO pathway is becoming more valuable than ever for student-athletes.
At the junior college level, athletes have the opportunity to:
- Develop their game in a competitive college environment
-Gain college experience and maturity before moving on to a four-year program
-Improve academic standing and GPA
-Build film and statistics against college competition
-Earn opportunities at the next level
With roster sizes tightening and transfer rules continuing to evolve within the NCAA, many four-year programs are turning to JUCO athletes who have already proven themselves at the college level.
For athletes, JUCO is not a backup plan, it is a strategic pathway that allows athletes to grow, compete, and ultimately move on to the right four-year fit, also in a cost effective manner.
Go get it @ava_williams00! Proud of you. Good luck to your teammates @maddi4010 and @delilahw2026 as well. Special kids with special goals. You can, you WILL!!!!
