Difference between BadAss (BA)coach and DumbAss (DA)coach 1) BA admits when wrong and apologizes-DA makes up another reality 2) BA genuinely cares…DA says all right words and privately manipulates to hurt others(coaches and players) 3) BA never stops learning…DA believes he knows it all 4) BA will learn from anyone (wife, equip manager, fan, PeeWee coach…DA only wants to learn from “Big Time” college coach…He’s to cool to learn from custodian who may be his best teacher! 5) BA wants to know the truth…even if he is wrong…DA doesn’t care about the truth, he just wants to act as if he’s right 6) BA doesn’t just coach and advise young people they “like”, they understand the world is full humans they don’t like that have value…DA only wants to help and work with people whom they like, people who kiss their ass, and people who have something they want 7) BA knows when it’s time to fight and when it’s time to shutup and just allow it…DA fights whenever threatened regardless of the outcome, even when wrong. We are all Dumbasses sometimes…Be a BadAss more.
