What the 🧠 #ECNL clubs are doing is letting the top RL players guest play with the NL team or sending the whole ECRL team instead of the NL team to get 10X exposure of the RL events for the same cost. Win/Win for players/parents/club.

Great post and many #ECNL (RL) teams are better than ECNL and #GirlsAcademy teams but sadly players don't get the same exposure opportunities. A real opportunity for mid-majors as some very strong players especially in some of the soccer hotbeds with deep talent pools.

Conversation I had with a family recently.

“What happens if you tear your ACL again while you are in college and never play again? Is that school a place that academically you will be challenged and you will be excited about getting up in the morning for class? When your team is on the road and you can’t be around your teammates and coaching staff does the location have enough things for you to do? Is it safe?
I know it’s not what you want to hear, but it’s a reality”

Your decision is much bigger than just picking a place to play soccer. It’s finding a home that mentally will challenge and stimulate you academically, emotionally, and will bring you happiness off the field. For some families it is also about finding a place that will not weigh you down with long term debt.

Chose wisely.
