Today our students worked as a team to build snowmen with the equipment provided. One student from each group tries to go to the middle of the gym on scooter without being tagged to get 1 part of the snowman. We asked them to use their imagination and be as creative as possible.

Big thanks to @canutillocsh and @ProjectVIDAEP for donating to the @ReyesElementary CATCH PE program. On this day students wrote and created activities based on their favorite healthy snack. Staff members also joined our students during the PE walk to model healthy habits.
Excited for our CATCH (Coordinated Approach to Children’s Health) Wellness Walk. On this day students are encouraged to wear bright color athletic wear. Bright colors representing fruits and veggies.
Introducing my 4th graders to the nutrition facts concept and letting them know it’s alright to have their favorite snack as long as they understand that what matters is the serving size and how much they consume.
