This is strictly a VOLUNTEER position; there is NO compensation, meals, or housing. This is an entry level position designed for highly motivated individuals with high work ethic and seeking experience at the FCS level. Former OL Quality Control Coaches have gone on to success as FBS GA’s, FCS/D2/D3 position coaches, and Power 5 Quality Control positions. Kevin Callahan, who has a 197-151 record as the only head football coach in Monmouth history, is retiring from the position to transition to a special advisor role within the athletic department. He was hired in August 1992.

Associate head coach Jeff Gallo, who has both played and coached under Callahan, has been named the program's second head football coach.
