For defensive coaches that want to learn about breaking down an offense. For offensive coaches that want to learn how we break you down.

@dbtips101 SAM would be working it inside out and the corner would work it outside in from depth. SAM will jam release of Y then the work the out of F. CB will sink with the under route from Z, so SAM should be the first one there but the CB would be there right after.
Might be the best poster I’ve made yet. Couldn’t have made it for a better kid and family. Three siblings have come through BA and played softball/baseball and their family has never missed a game!
@CoachJPBates @SpreadOffense Agreed. Running weak vs an over front is going to give you a natural cutback, but it’s being plugged by ILB so he cuts it back even more.
@SpreadOffense I do see an argument for same side DUO, but IMO the back is aiming for the RT hip of the Center. They are running vs and over front, working to the shade side would make the play want to cutback to backside A, which is being filled, so he cuts back even more.
@SpreadOffense From a defensive perspective I would tag this as IZ, mainly because the double teams are looking to climb front side. I always think of DUO as gap blocking without the puller.
@Coach_Lopez16@coachhaddadjr@vIQtorySports I would never run a front w/ dbl open gaps, even if I was gonna slant to close it up. No guarantee that the DL gets there.
We base out of odd. Slide that DE to 4i and it’s our OKIE front. We also base 3 safety. Give us options to +1 box or coverage when needed.
@Coach_Lopez16@coachhaddadjr@vIQtorySports I would rather you run than exploit my -1 in the coverage to trips side.
Wouldn’t you rather run 14 iso here, away from the rotation?
I don’t think run is bad call here, but I would never play C3 weak rotation unless I’m expecting run.
@Coach_Lopez16@coachhaddadjr@vIQtorySports Yup, safety is the unblocked guy. rolling down = adding an extra backer. He is in the fit. Teach it that way.
Also if I’m bring a backer to LOS I’m stunting. Nobody should play a shade to the str side and a 5 to the weak minus another DT. He should be 4i.
@PatrickBowen28@SwingEveryday @michael_schlact If it’s last at bat then it’s district play and there is no ten run rule in the fourth that I know of. Usually it’s 15 after four.
@CoachRJ83 knows defense. Listen to why he always tracks playcalling tendencies after an explosive play.
