If you get a chance, hit up one of the spring fed, rock bottom rivers to "float", or "tube" on you will love it. Tubing probably most fun, followed by Kayaking, then Canoeing if you have time and ability. You won't regret it. If you want to travel a couple hours out of your way, Current River, Jack's Fork, or Eleven Point I promise you are worth the float!!! (In Missouri)
@fiago7 Van Buren, Eminence Missouri for the Ozarks and floating experience (Current River, Jack's Fork, and Eleven Point); or for a little bit larger Ozarkian experience go to Branson Missouri :)
It's not about Trump as crazy as some of you think. It's about having voted for certain things to happen and a party not respecting that. For the first time in my adult Gen X life (other then when Trump was voted in the first time to TRY to get some change); a party is actually holding sitting members accountable. I am not Texan or from Tennesee, but I find it refreshing to see what is perceived to be people who quit representing their constituents voted out. AND when the person who lost the primary immediately switches their votes and allegiance it kind of PROVES they should have been primary'ed out....
I honestly can't speak to City life. Never lived there, been country my whole life. Was probably cheaper to call your friends back then too in the city; most people probably had electricity and running water, indoor bathrooms, etc. (in the city). I can only compare my family and my life experiences.
This has to be click bait...has to be? Most of my friends left the Democrat party because it went and is crazy....I grew up Democrat, there is NO room in their party for me. Pro-Family, Pro-Gun, Pro-Life...; with a social conscience for those who need help; I am an independent.
One of my ex-students who started as a stock boy in Shoe Carnival worked his way up to Store manager and is in the running for Regional Manager when it opens up. He's only been out of school about 12 years...so I don't think the dream is dead if you're willing to put in time and work.
@ChadowskiIsBack Most of the Late Boomers, and Gen Xers I know lived in Rentals for a long time...large parts of their lives. I can understand if they were able to save enough, and then be fiscally responsible enough, to buy their own homes they would not to go back to a rental.
