@Coach_Stone99@JacobRandall177 Thank you Coach for the positive difference you are making for Jacob in his lifting and strength. He’s gotten so much stronger! I’ve noticed the positive progress on our baseball players too. You are making a positive difference
Good win for the boys of fall! Love watching #76 Jacob and his brothers work together as 1 unit.
@JacobRandall177 and @jacob_randall_17 is pretty fast for his O-line position, so there are plays they run where he pulls to become a lead blocker, and he did well getting to his blocks to helping plow the way for the running back. Got a couple pancake blocks too. Excited for next week! They will have a super tough game, as they face the #1 team in 5A next week. It will be a great game to come out and watch to support the knights!! Come out and cheer them on! Go knights!!
Thank you Coach for the kind words about Jacob and for all the time you give coaching these young men. JJ is an awesome young man too and it’s fun to watch him too. I appreciate how they pick each other up and work so hard together as a group. Even if a play doesn’t go perfect, it’s a “we got the next play attitude” and believing in each other. It’s a special group. Thanks for all you do!
Had a fun evening last night watching Ally Play. She got a lot of action when playing a tough team. It is so fun to watch her play and be a leader. She even took a few hard shots off her body to block them too and has a soccer ball outline on her leg from one really hard shot. Fun to watch her play fearless. I also got to see another baseball player from last year’s team that graduated. He was there watching his girlfriend play and he recognized Ally playing and we then got to chat. So good hearing good things happening in your life @henry4martin that you are enjoying the next chapter of your life. You have a bright future!
Big win for the boys taking down the #5 ranked team in 5A! I so enjoy watching these guys play! #76 @JacobRandall177 and @jacob_randall_17 has taught me a lot about playing line and I enjoy watching the line play so much more. I now see the adjustments they make at the line of scrimmage on the fly and I love watching Jacob, Brody and Nate’s communication with Brody to Jacob’s left and Nate to his right of adjustments they make quickly. They are smart and work so well together as a unit! A photographer caught a photo of these 3 that was a good pic of them that are like brothers that work so well together and are 3 tough young men! I caught some game pics too and you’ll see the hands to face and facemasks with their heads bent back by d-line, that they don’t call very often on d-line, that these young men in the trenches endure as O-line to protect their QB and make blocks for the RB. Few see the ice bags, sore bodies, sore necks from guys grabbing o-line face masks, bruises, and beating they take in a game, but they do it as a unit for each other. Our stud QB even ran through a guy to get a big first down, when he could’ve slid to go down, and our star RB did the same and battled for extra yards all night too! These guys give their bodies for the W and for their brothers every game and it’s a privilege to see how they play for each other and the sacrifices they make for each other and the team! Big things ahead and a great win!! Go ACP Knights!
Good start to college Fall ball, scrimmage games against Benedictine and Yavapai. I had a total of 6 at bats with 2 walks and batted .500 on the weekend with a HR, 2 singles and 3 RBIs.
So fun to watch Ally this weekend. They won 1-0 and are playing well as a team. Ally was voted team Captain by her teammates this season and she is loving the team of girls and her coaches. So happy she’s continuing to love playing soccer in college! She had pulled her hamstring 2 games ago and has been working to get back and was able to play last night and she made a big impact. It was fun to watch. When I was there watching, I heard my name from a familiar voice and it was a @JadenG2026, a baseball player I have had to privilege to coach since he was young and all through high school. He’s a player I will definitely miss coaching, not just because of how good he is at baseball, but because of the person he is as a young man. He is doing well already in college baseball too and I’m excited for him that he is loving college baseball. Bright things ahead for him! Coaches, put his name on your board to watch. He’s worth following!
I love sports and how much it teaches about life. Last week, we won a thriller in a heavy weight match up by 1 point. Unfortunately this week’s game we lost, when we looked like we were going to have another thrilling ending to celebrate, as we were 2nd and goal on the 2 yard line with less than a minute left. But things didn’t go our way at the end.
What most won’t see is how much adversity the team had to overcome, just to get to that moment at the end, for an opportunity to still have a chance to win. When things seemed to go wrong in the game, the “quit” never came! The effort to keep fighting back was what I loved to see. Does that mean it always ends in celebration with max effort? No it does not, but the chance to win at the end, came from the effort to make the comeback.
@JacobRandall177 was truly exhausted at end of game and definitely left it all on the field. He made some great blocks throughout the game both in the run game and pass protection. Nice pancake block too bud! Keep your heads up ACP! We are all proud of you guys and the fight you showed! Lots of success still ahead! Go Knights!
What a game the boys had! They Beat the #7 ranked 5A team in the state 28-27 on Homecoming week! This group is coming together! Fun to watch you play #76 @jacob_randall_17 @JacobRandall177 and see you and your brothers battle every play for each other! What a game! You guys are so disciplined and it made the difference to get the win! Fun when no one has scored on them in 2 games and you guys put up 28 on them! You guys dominated the line of scrimmage! So darn proud of you! You also stayed focused in a play that didn’t go our way and made a potential touchdown saving tackle, and the defense made a big stop after that to help us keep the lead. Such a great team win!! Keep up the good work and keep growing into the leader that you are becoming!
Our daughter Ally took some awesome pictures Friday night of Jacob and his team, who won 49-14! Love watching Jacob’s heart and effort, as he’s the lightest of the starting lineman, but man does he go all out and made some big blocks for multiple touchdown runs and some big gains, and no sacks! #76, it’s fun to watch you play and see your effort, focus, and determination! You and your brothers are a fun group to watch!

One-on-one with 2027 @ACPFootball17 QB @gunnarschmidt09 ⚔️
I was very impressed with Schmidt's football mind. We talked a lot about how he reads the field, being a leader, working with his teammates, and finding success at ACP this season ⬇️

This morning, I am thankful for knee braces and good teammates for Jacob. Last night Jacob had a jamboree vs 3 other schools and his leg got caught under a guy on the ground while blocking, and then another player was blocking and that block flew into Jacob up high, that folded Jacob backwards over the player on the ground, but his foot and knee were stuck under him. The knee you can see was protected by the knee brace from having a bad injury. Phew! Very Thankful to avoid a major injury and that he can go ball out next week for the first game of the season. Thank you God the knee braces worked and arrived in time for Jacob to use, to protect his knees like it did. Looking forward to watching his first season game next week.
Got to watch ACP’s scrimmage of purple vs white and see all the hard work the boys are putting in before their first season game in 2 weeks. Jacob has had to learn a whole new offense and was one of the few players that had no plays off in the scrimmage, battling every play to give it all he had. I love watching his effort. He made some really good blocks and I caught a video of his quickness to get inside the D-Tackle to open the hole for the running back for a touchdown run.
Love watching him play and see how hard he’s worked and how strong he’s gotten to battle in the trenches. Offensive line gets very little credit, but that fits Jacob’s personality of how he is a natural protector and thinks of others more than himself. Love watching him ball out in the trenches.
Excited for the season the start and see the boys play!
I had some business out in California, so I got to stop and see these 3 awesome young men at their next baseball home. I will miss coaching these awesome players and even better young men! ACP baseball family for life! They are going to make a big impact for their college team and in all they do in life!
