After 15 years coaching at Rockford I am stepping away for the time being to be more available for my family. Forever thankful to have been a part of something so big, for so long. Will always be cheering on the girls and in their corner. Go Rams, forever ๐งก๐ค
When you have a career like @SiennaWolfe3 did, you run out of room on a graphic trying to summarize it.
Itโs an impressive list. When you throw in the adversity of injuries, itโs even more impressive.

Game 5 (from yesterday):
Rockford used their press and a balanced attack to end the 1st qtr on a 16-3 run to go up 22-8 at the end of 1, with 6 different players scoring in the period. Grand Rapids Catholic Central outscored Rockford 17-16 in the 2nd qtr to stay within striking distance on the strength of 5 3-pointers (3 by Payton Fellows & 2 by Hailey Durland). However, Rockford came out strong in the 3rd qtr, scoring the 1st 10 points of the 2nd half and outscoring GRCC 24-8 to go up 62-33 entering the 4th. Rockford wins 79-44.
Sr Wofford signee Sienna Wolfe (pictured, #3) keyed Rockford's big 3rd qtr with 13 of her team-high 21 points in that period. Sr Northwood recruit Kate Higgins (pictured, #4) was tenacious on the boards after halftime with a majority of her 13 boards in the 2nd half as she pursued the basketball off the rim and ripped away every 50/50 ball (and almost ripping away an extra arm on 1 or 2 occasions); she also added 9 points and 4 assists to finish just short of a double-double. Sr Audrey Muterspaugh also hustled her way to double-digit rebounds with 11, while adding 6 points, 3 steals, and 4 assists. Sophs Addison Wypych and Kendall Bires joined Wolfe in double-figures scoring-wise with 11 & 10 points, respectively.
Grand Rapids Catholic Central also had 3 players in double-digits. Jr Payton Fellows (pictured, #11) hit 5 3-pointers to lead GRCC with 19 points, while adding 4 blocked shots defensively. Sr Hailey Durland hit a trio of 3s to add 11 points, while sr Jaya Chandler tallied a well-rounded 10 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, & 3 steals.
