Southern University has played an FCS, D2, and FBS team this year, and will play an NAIA team this weekend.

That's pretty cool, not sure i've ever seen a team play four different levels of competition in a season before.

[Spencer Wheeler @CoachSCDub]

7 Different Braves Caught/Rushed/Thew a TD today. An 8th scored one on SPTs.

7 Players caught a Pass

7 Players had a Rush

28 Players made a Tackle

13 Players had a TFL

7 Players had a Sack

3 Players Forced a Turnover

What does this tell you?

We are not a One man band. We play a team game as a team. Everyone has a job. Everyone does their part. The whole team stepped up and good things happened.

If you wanna play as an individual this probably isn’t the place for you. But if you wanna be a part of team, There’s no better place for you than OU.

DEVELOPMENT!

Plug and Play is Awesome, But just because you are good enough on Week 1 doesnt mean we still cant work and make you better.

Come get Developed

21 of our 22 Game 2 starters were recruited by our staff out of high school.

4 of those starters weren't starters in Game 1.

Opportunity earned. Development realized.

Recruit the right people. Invest in them daily. Believe in them before they've become what they're capable of being.
That's still a winning formula

[Spencer Wheeler @CoachSCDub]

Game Day visits are coming up Soon.

We will be inviting Student-Athletes that fill out our Survey and Get Admitted to the University.

Get the Process started now, come see why OU is for YOU

Been seeing alot of recruits following and sending DM's this week. We're fired up to begin the recruiting process.

If you took the time follow and DM, take less than 3 minutes to fill out our questionnaire.

Every athlete that fills out the questionnaire gets their film watched, not every DM will get answered.

Set yourself apart from the crowd.

This is a one off clip, but sparks my thoughts for OL coaches that teach the double under.

Double under always looks great when you can get into the chest of the defender unimpeeded. How do you adjust or coach up your guys when the DL is playing longer than you, as is seen in this clip?

@OLCoachRosen Yes, have done.

28/29 BAM

BAM = Back a Man. (ID 1 Behind who we normally would).

Same rules as regular, just need the center to know his combo is going back/backwards.

HMU if you wanna talk it over, always down to talk ball.

[Nick Davis @CoachNickDavis]

We had a homemade escape room for the team tonight.

I've never seen players and coaches communicate this well.

Turns out the key to elite teamwork wasn't football.

It was earning more free time on a Saturday night before our off day tomorrow. 😂
