From the opening tip to the final buzzer, Holy Innocents’ @hiesbasketball put on a basketball clinic, beat East Hall in commanding fashion with an 86-38 victory in the main event of the 𝙉𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙝 𝙂𝙚𝙤𝙧𝙜𝙞𝙖 𝙍𝙚𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙎𝙝𝙤𝙬𝙘𝙖𝙨𝙚. The charge was led by UNC commit Caleb Wilson @CalebWilson2025 , alongside Devin Hutcherson @DevinHutch2026 and Clark Thurman @clarkthurman25, as the trio delivered an unstoppable performance that left East Hall with no answers. Whether it was knockdown threes, high-flying dunks, mid-range excellence, or aggressive drives through the defense, Wilson, Hutcherson, and Thurman did it all—and they did it at an elite level. Their court vision and passing made Holy Innocents’ even more dangerous, as they not only put on a scoring display but also facilitated their teammates with precision assists.
The numbers tell the story—Wilson, Hutcherson, and Thurman combined for 50 of the team’s 86 points, dished out 12 assists, and completely controlled the tempo. It was a masterclass in dominance, proving once again why this team is a clear-cut favorite for a state championship. With this level of chemistry and execution, it’s hard to see anyone stopping them. If they continue at this pace, Caleb Wilson and Clark Thurman could very well finish their high school careers as state champions—a fitting end for two players who continue to shine on the biggest stage.
