@supportREALtchr@SHAPE_America This is the philosophy that every school district should have regarding after school
sports if they have the gym space available n their district
@Mets Your future stars program promises Little Leagues a coaches clinic, VIP experience for 6 at Citi Field and Board Member Appreciation night. We still have no dates for these events. Give us dates or we won’t be back next year!
@GingerAaron Ceiling is too low to play standard volleyball or even basketball games. Plus birdies and balls get stuck inside and in between the vents regularly.
@carmelhealth@jayshetty@calm 1) Go to bed early
2) Get up early so you can ease into the day
3) Find a way to get significant exercise in before work- you’ll feel accomplished before 8 AM.
Happy New Year’s everyone! At this time last year I was about to have surgery after tearing my Achilles tendon. Today I was able to do 100 pull-ups, 200 sit-ups, 100 incline bench reps(140 lbs) and 200 air squats in 20 minutes and 43 seconds. Grateful to be physically active!
@carmelhealth Definitely the best part of Twitter is connecting with people I would never have had the opportunity to meet otherwise. It was very therapeutic for me to share my experiences with you. Incredible to me that I feel this great only one year after joining the ‘Dan Marino club’
@carmelhealth Yesterday was the one year anniversary of when my Achilles tendon tore. Glad to say that I am in a far better place physically, mentally and emotionally than I could have possibly imagined at this time last year.
@satalino15 As a Mets fan, it is a weird feeling to be on the other side. We all know that championships are won on the field and not in the off season. I am excited about my 2023 Mets. Not excited about the $50 parking fees and $25 beers that will probably come with our spending spree.
@CoachGelardi@NYSAHPERD@PS173Q@NYCSchools@DOEChancellor@D26Team Yeah. The transition to being a dean was overwhelming at first, but recently it has been a lot better as I have gained confidence and gotten to know the kids better. Some days I miss teaching PE, though.
@Mr_L3v3rt0n Don’t stress about the small stuff. I remember my first year teaching having teachers obsessing about students chewing gum and not wearing school issued shorts. Always keep in mind that Physical Education is supposed to fun; figure out ways to inject fun and safety into lessons.
