@travissuuu There’s definitely other stuff that are character concerns with him but saying the quiet part out loud I don’t think is one of them. I doubt CJ McCollum was playing 100% on the wizards his entire time there and he’s a true professional.
I’m confused why people are clowning him for this. He was on the NETS dude there was literally no incentive to play 110% on a tanking team.
This just seems like a normal response that anyone on a bad team would go through.
Michael Porter Jr. admits he kind of stopped playing hard after not making the All-Star team
"I regret that once I didn’t make that All-Star game, I let my foot off the gas because there really wasn’t anything we were playing for anymore. We couldn’t make the playoffs, I couldn’t be an All-Star... I wasn’t in the weight room as much, I wasn’t preparing as much, and my three-point percentage dropped."

Going to Flash Flood was the first major I attended and @Sparg0ssb got a fan for life. He was insanely fun to watch and was super friendly when asked for photos with some of my players.
Also shoutout @SirDank_ for the most entertaining set I will likely ever see 🔥
Quick List off the top of my head of 1 player for each title I don’t know well.

Valorant - Aspas
Overwatch - Proper
SSBU - MKLeo
Smash Melee - HungryBox
CSGO - Pasza
F1 - Jarno Opmeer
Fortnite - ????
The thing I absolutely love about Kenny is despite him “breaking” into traditional media you’ll still see him doing his wacky 2k rebuilds on his channel. He still is doing the thing that fans love to watch him do.
It really hurts the scene to see top programs go through this. I really hope all the players and coaches are able to bounce back because they are too talented to not be able to.
After thoughtful consideration and review of institutional priorities, Converse University has made the difficult decision to conclude the esports program at the end of the 2025–2026 academic year.
Since its launch, Converse Esports has provided student-athletes with opportunities to compete at the collegiate level, build lifelong skills through teamwork and leadership, and represent our University on regional and national stages. We are proud of the program’s accomplishments, including the growth of our teams, the development of student staff roles, and the creation of a welcoming community for gamers across campus.
While the program will not continue beyond 2025–2026, Converse remains deeply committed to supporting our current esports student-athletes. All scholarships that have been awarded will be honored through the completion of the program, and the University will continue to provide resources to ensure a strong student experience during this final year.
We want to thank our student-athletes, staff, alumni, and supporters who have helped shape Converse Esports into what it is today. Your dedication and passion have left a lasting mark on our community, and we look forward to celebrating this program’s legacy together during its concluding year.
I’m sorry to announce that as of today @SimpsonEsports has been dissolved and I’m looking for new esports opportunities.
Very happy to have built the program from the ground up and what we were able to accomplish for a small D3!
