The greatest tactic I have found for maintaining self-accountability is when I recognize the self-negotiation, the rationalizing, in that moment I declare that I have no choice but to go through with what I am avoiding.
The skill is recognizing - the strength is in the action!
The taking of ownership is extremely difficult because it’s adoption is palpable, as the pain from realizing everything in your life is your fault is immediate and harsh.
However, this adoption brings with it the greatest of rewards - which is FREEDOM!

You must create a story of who you want to be! Tell yourself that story everyday. Make choices and take action based on that story; and soon realize that your reality is merely your capacity to live up to the character you have created in your story!
CHASE WHO YOU WANT TO BE!
If you and your universe knows you as nothing but successful; then absent of a tragedy, what could suddenly make you unsuccessful?
Adopting this perspective would free you from the burden of failure! Even a loss would require ignorance toward growth to transcend into failure!
Ego-depletion theory (Baumeister, 2011), states that ‘willpower’ has limits and weakens throughout the day. 👎🏼

Preparation is the foundation for confidence! Confidence is the most important mental skill tactic (PERIOD). Confidence will allow you to be resilient in the face of adversity, push through hard training sessions, and perform in the most crucial moments.
3. What mindset tactics will we use with this athlete? (Visualization, meditation, music, alter ego, etc.)
4. What nutritional habits do we want to implement?
5. How much time do they typically have before a game?
6. What will we use as anchors?
7. Home and away version.
