The @colonelcrawford boys' basketball program has been a consistent winner for the last two decades under head coach @CoachSheldon_CC. Over the last several seasons, however, the team has enjoyed perhaps its greatest stretch with power forward Payne DeGray at the center of the Eagles' prosperity.

The 6' 5" future college football player is the program's all-time leading rebounder and a 3-time All-Ohio selection. His strength, footwork, and finishing ability have put DeGray at the top of the state's shooting percentage charts throughout his career, leading Colonel Crawford to its first State appearance last season, and Elite Eight berth in 2026.

Hall of Fame coach Joe Balogh took a trip 'Around the Arena' with Payne to showcase a personality that's as big as his stature. The senior standout talks about his progression as a player, gameplay style, and life off the court during their lap around Mac Morrison Gym.

Teammates Addison Hess (Special Mention) and Audrey Hellickson (Honorable Mention) from @mapletonproud & Robin Ehmann (Special Mention) and Emmi Powers (Honorable Mention) of @colonelcrawford were named while @mount_gilead's Danielle Pohlkotte and @MCSFlames_AD's Zy Davis were also took home Honorable Mention honors.

All-Ohio girls basketball teams were announced. Riverdale's Marissa Bonham is 2nd team and Wynford's Caroline Sheldon is 3rd team in Division VI. Carey's Emily Brodman and McKinnley Kessler received honorable mention. Mohawk's Katie Woodland was honorabl mention in Division VII.
