To join this club, an athlete must hit a 20 MPH sprint speed in a speed session. We test this by doing Flying Sprints with the @ovrperformance OVR Sprint timing gates and track this data over time with @teambuildr .

Join Coach Nowitzki as he will be hosting his 8th Grade Speed and Strength Camp throughout this Winter and Spring!

Program Overview:
Designed and implemented by Benet’s Director of Strength and Conditioning, Morgan Nowitzki, his speed and strength camp is specifically designed for 8th-grade athletes looking to build a strong athletic foundation, enhance on-field performance, and prepare for high school athletics. The program focuses on developing functional strength, explosive power, agility, and correct movement mechanics in a safe, supervised environment. We prioritize quality of movement over the amount of weight lifted, ensuring long-term success and injury reduction.

-16 Weeks (February 3rd - May 28th)
-Tuesdays and Thursdays
-Week of Spring Break OFF
-Time: 7-8:15 PM (Can be subject to change due to availability)
-Current 8th Grade Boys (Class of 2030) of all sports.
-$250 per athlete

The Mat Awaits: Welcome to Benet Wrestling!

We are extremely excited to announce that next school year (2026-2027), will be the inaugural year for the Benet Wrestling program!

We have hired NCAA All-American Jackson Punzel as our Varsity Wrestling Head Coach. Coach Punzel competed for Wheaton College throughout his collegiate career and, once his time on the mat ended, stepped into the role of Assistant Coach for the program.

Jackson brings incredible experience to Benet, and we are very excited to have him lead the charge! We welcome him with open arms and are ecstatic to have him get this program started!

Congratulations Jackson, and we cannot wait to see your success here at Benet Academy!

We have hired 3x Super Bowl Champion and 3x Big Ten Champion, James White, as our next Head Coach!

Coach White brings along a resume of incredible experience that cannot be beat. Here are some highlights of his career⬇️

𝐀𝐒 𝐀 𝐂𝐎𝐀𝐂𝐇:
- 2025: Assistant Running Backs Coach at the University of Illinois
- 2024: Player Personnel at Northern Illinois University

𝐀𝐒 𝐀 𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐘𝐄𝐑:
𝑵𝑭𝑳 𝑪𝑨𝑹𝑬𝑬𝑹:
- 8-Year NFL Career as a running back, all with the New England Patriots, being named a Captain for four consecutive seasons from 2018-2022.

- 3x Super Bowl Champion in 2014, 2016 and 2018 with the New England Patriots under Head Coach Bill Belichick, where he played in 95 games and ran for 3,278 yards and scored 25 touchdowns, also helping the Patriots to 6 Division Titles.

- One of White’s best games of his NFL career came in New England’s historic Super Bowl LI win when the Patriots trailed Atlanta, 28-3, and came back to win, 34-28, in overtime. White accounted for 139 total yards, including a Super Bowl-record 14 receptions for 110 receiving yards, and scored three touchdowns. His 1-yard touchdown run with 0:57 left in regulation helped the Patriots tie the game before his 2-yard run in overtime was the game-winner. He set the record for most points scored by a player in a single Super Bowl (20).

𝑪𝑶𝑳𝑳𝑬𝑮𝑬 𝑪𝑨𝑹𝑬𝑬𝑹:
- Played at the University of Wisconsin from 2010-2013 under Head Coach Bret Bielema, who is now the current Head Coach at the University of Illinois.

- James starred for the Badgers, helping them to 3 Big Ten Titles and 3 Trips to the Rose Bowl.

- 2010 Big Ten Freshman of the Year.

- Ran for 4,015 yards and scored 48 touchdowns as a Badger, ranking fourth in school history in rushing yards and third in total touchdowns as well as setting the Wisconsin record for receiving yards by a running back with 670 for his career. White finished his career ranked No. 4 all-time at Wisconsin with 5,450 all-purpose yards.
