I never once “practiced” leaving my feet in a drill to make a tackle, yet made a number of them in both high school and college. Only left my feet from necessity (I either took a poor angle or the other guys was just a better athlete). I didn’t have to practice this because body-to-body contact was practiced and preached. Tackling is and art form, but there is nothing finesse about it.

Tried something new…
Reached out to Alumni to write a letter to their jersey number.
We had Alum from 1999 up to 2025 write in!
Great for the guys to see it’s more than just a number!! It’s about the program and what it means and takes to be a Norton Panther. @NortonBaseball_
Get your boys into football and watch the transformation!
Football uniquely challenges boys in ways that boys need but rarely get in today’s society.
We need football because it provides an environment where boys can become young men, and young men can become grown men.
Multiple sports and overall athleticism is STILL what the best Coaches like Jeremy recommend.
Yes, we see a higher skill level at younger ages, but we see LOTS of injuries in high school, WAY too many require surgery.
The largest advantages you can give athletic departments is a S&C program that is aligned with all teams.
Not each team “doing their own thing”.
It’s literally connecting athletes from sport to sport so they make continuous progress year round. Such a low hanging fruit🙌🏻
