What an incredible day to be a LONGHORN!!!🤘

@TarkAthDept first trip to the State Lineman Challenge, our athletes finished 9th out of 16 teams, placed in the Top 6 in four events, and WON an event championship.

This experience was about more than competition. It was an opportunity for our athletes to challenge themselves against some of the best teams in the state, create memories, and represent our community with pride.

Thank you to our Booster Club, donors, parents, and supporters who made this opportunity possible. Thank you for believing in our Horns and showing that this community truly is One Herd, One Heart!

@CoachSperling brings nearly a decade of coaching experience at the high school level, serving as an Offensive Coordinator, Defensive Coordinator, and Offensive Line Coach across programs in Tennessee and Kentucky. His background includes building disciplined, physical football teams and developing student-athletes into leaders on and off the field.

A United States Army veteran with multiple combat deployments, Coach Sperling’s leadership style is built on accountability, toughness, and servant leadership. We are excited for the energy, experience, and commitment he will bring to the Longhorn football program.
