As part of Women’s History Month, kindergarteners in Mrs. Worth’s class at Grafflin learned about Alma Thomas and her artwork, then created collage pieces reflecting her use of color and pattern.

To wrap their unit on fast and slow changes, Ms. Mancuso’s second graders created model volcano eruptions, exploring how heat and pressure beneath the Earth’s crust lead to real eruptions.

Third graders wrapped up their forces & motion unit by building a screen-free arcade using gravity, friction, magnets, pushes & pulls. Families came to play — and students explained the science behind every game. #WeAreChappaqua @CoachSpillane
