@JamesCook14 And his management with the prospects, trading Walman (don’t forget we paid SJ to take him) was a sign of his arrogance. His lack of FA signings to help us take a step forward was frustrating. In today’s league you either swing or you fail.
@JamesCook14 He was my favorite hockey player growing up. I really hoped he’d be the savior for this team but he failed miserably. Rumors around the league was he was very difficult to work with. His press conferences were arrogant and he gave us fans nothing. Glad he’s out.
@jdawgLGRW If by “changed his mind” you mean nobody wants to trade for him, no. If he changes his mind because Yzerman gets off his hands and lands a top 6 player, maybe. I sympathize with his frustration with Stevie Y’s rebuild. It’s been painful.
This is why Detroit is in an 8 year rebuild and will probably be looking for a new GM soon. Yzerman lets emotion get in the way of reason.
He can claim he has leverage all he wants, but he has none. Every team knows Detroit going into next season with Larkin will be disaster
@RedWingDiehards He’s the Captain. He IS the culture! He has to be traded now because the fanbase has zero tolerance for someone that doesn’t want to be here. We’ve seen the best Wings teams before. I might be in the minority but Larks would be a 3rd liner on those teams. That’s how bad we are.
@MLFootball Why is this even a topic? Who cares! He introduced the POTUS. Big deal. But if it were a dem in office, he’d be praised and loved by their media. So sick of the crying. You haven’t learned anything from 2024.
