@BamaGoose256 @HighTide_18 Pretty hard to work on your craft in three completely different areas of the game (pitch, D, hit) at such a high level. Also, it’s tough on your arm to take IO and games every day and then pitch. It’s a lot. Very few can do it well.

@jp3_baseball People have no idea the difference between college baseball and AA. The gap is enormous. Every AA team would coast through the NCAA tournament.

I’m curious what you mean by this? What exactly is tech helping with and who is leading the way on this? No shade here, genuinely curious.

My thoughts are using tech to find inefficient movements in pitchers to maximize output and also finding weaknesses in opposing hitters.

One of the disadvantages of a school like UF is they are recruiting kids who have been catered to and told they are the best their whole life. They all played for the best travel teams and think they can just roll out and win. Doesn’t work that way, baseball rewards production, not potential.

@NoahB77_ @11point7 That’s why coaches need to use their whole staff throughout the season to get ready for this tournament. Give guys opportunities in March-May and they will hopefully be ready for these postseason tournaments.

@TFG_Football Well there is zero chance they get a salary cap. So it doesn’t really matter if it’s good or bad. It’s irrelevant. Everyone knows this. It’s simply the most extreme starting point to leverage other concessions they want implemented.

While I totally agree with you these are all very important, I struggle to believe these are items pro scouts & orgs actually put an emphasis on. I played with many guys in the pros who didn’t embody the first 2 characteristics and still got promoted time & time again. They care about tools, production, & potential above all from my experience.
